Kristie Stenning’s art can be found across homes in Australia and around the world. Working out of a studio in Sydney’s Northern Beaches –Stenning’s pieces evoke the sensuality of the female form alongside the beauty of nature. Stennings propensity for artistic expression through a len of beauty makes them a highly recognisable and coveted by art buyers around the world.
With a background in Fine Arts and Graphic Design – Stenning’s career has spanned Fashion, Media Industry, and commissionable pieces for private buyers.
Her flair for illustration led to her to becoming the Head Designer of a trendy Australian-made fashion boutique. Her designs were available in Oxford Street, Bondi Beach, Darling Harbour and Coogee Sydney.
Kristie also found herself working as a Graphic Artist in the fashion magazine industry. Her desire to create eventually led her to the Bondi Markets, every weekend selling her original, handmade clothing and Artworks on Canvas.
Stenning’s fashion labelCloverLove sold in boutiques worldwide and featured in fashion magazines such as Vogue, Elle and Fashion Journal.
In 2013 Kristie was so busy keeping up with painting orders she left her job as a Graphic Designer and began painting full-time. Seven years later the demand for Stenning's art has only increased. At least 1000 homes over Australia now own an original Stenning. Interior Stylist, high end hotels and clothing stores like KOOKAI also display Stenning's art.

The Women on Wallpaper works are an enticing array of female figures appearing on an inspired selection of vintage wallpaper. The layered depth is created with wallpaper and oozing colour. Stenning creates a perfect mood surrounding the focal point of the woman. She may be bold, subtle, earthy or vibrant. A relevant creation for every mood..
“The paintings start with papers. I have used hand painted papers that are over 100 years old from China, Italian papers high lighted with gold. I search the world for high quality printed papers inspired by by design periods and styles I love'.
The colour and style of the paper inspires the choice the colours of the paints to be applied next.
The final step of adding the woman ties the emotion and mood of the painting together.
Kristie loves to be in nature and finds inspiration when she can breathe away from modern-day life. Appreciating the beauty of natural colours, shapes and sounds inspire her to paint.
